As a high-school sophomore, David Orlowski wrote term papers for seniors: $20 for an A, with a discount for lower grades. They all got A’s. Since then he has originated and improved content and copy for advertising, educational publishing, glossy magazine journalism, higher education, marketing and communications, non-profit institutions, and online media and entertainment, among others—in numerous formats, media, publications, and spaces. As a leader in branding and creative strategy for the first free-to-consumer, ad-supported digital music service sanctioned by the top four music-label groups and publishers, David helped secure multimillion-dollar venture funding and wrote all listener-facing copy. His rates (and morals), while higher, remain reasonable. He lives and works in New York City.
