The Colfax Facelift Project will be creating awareness through unity and igniting change through design. A community meeting where business partnerships are created within a skill share program. A 3-D model will be revealed to inspire a lacking community. And an art contest will be held to create and beautify a transformer station on West Colfax Avenue which is a major gateway Denver.

Identifying the Problem

The West Colfax Street and surrounding corridors is dated and is struggling to successfully function as a modern gateway into Denver. West Colfax's history as a landmark street is losing its beauty and functionality. The community along this route is below standards and is in dire need of a new development plan.

The Colfax Facelift Project combines three ideas within one plan. We will organize a community meeting where a 3-D model of West Colfax will be presented and viewed, a skill share program will implemented, and an art contest will be held to beautify the transformer station.
