AIGA Jacksonville's Discover Design mentoring program has been a huge success! Local high school students are paired with local graphic design professionals collaborate on creating a project. Our current design initiative is built around the theme of intolerance, allowing students to see how they can utilize their design talents to have a voice & make a difference. Each mentoring session is structured to introduce the students to different principles of design through the steps & processes of a real design project. They research & identify a target audience, participate in group brainstorming & develop concepts for their individual project.
