The Design program in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Utah partnered with West High School and the Sorenson Unity Center Computer Clubhouse in Salt Lake City to engage in the "Create! Don't Hate." project. AIGA SLC partnered with the University of Utah to launch this project. Under the coordination of Carol Sogard, design professor, as part of course curriculum for senior design majors, thirteen students mentored 7 high school students to create billboards that addressed the theme of tolerance.
