WARM DETROIT

Class: Advanced Visual Communication II Instructor: Zak Ostrowski Designers: Michael Prewitt / David Stafford Project: WORK, PLAY / CHANCE, DESIGN Warm Detroit started out as a chance driven, activist grounded project, in which David Stafford & Michael Prewitt randomly seleted the old Packard Plant as the project's starting point. Through chance & luck the two found a large surplus of abandoned clothing that seemed worth salvaging. After a thorough cleaning and practical packaging was applied the clothing was ready to be gifted back to the city.
