The ability to engage the world, create with the world and learn through experimentation are at the heart of innovation. Only three states have art AND design learning standards yet design mediates our relationship with objects, systems, environments and each other. Design opportunities need to be part of K12 education.
NEXT.cc creates a community of students, teachers, practitioners and ideas working together to green imagination and nurture creativity. Students research and create design journeys to assist underserved teachers and students with digital and environmental resources encouraging interest led learning.
