In this project, students designed an exhibition for a non-profit foundation in New York City called Urban Samaritan that recycles local museum banners as usable products made by Goodwill. In addition to creating the built environment, students designed, prototyped and proposed new products to the foundation, which were subjects of the exhibit.

Develop and create a line of easy-to-make products out of museum banners. Also, create the built environment in which to exhibit these products.

Sidebars_solution

Students created products that required minimal assembly and exhibited them in an environment that reflected the urban nature of the products. They also learned how to work as a team, deal with clients and realize their ideas through experimental fabrication methods.
