The Beta School is where education meets Netflix - a place where new teachers from around the world are empowered to share new ideas in a simple and easy way. Making high quality educational materials accessible and offering a platform for teachers to exchange lesson materials with other new teachers, Beta School is making it easier for new teachers to get the support from other new teachers from around the world.

Being a new, substitute or volunteer teacher can be overwhelming. With 50% of teachers leaving after 5 years, most of the resources available are positioned as "survival guides" Changing that mindset is the goal of Beta School; to inspire teachers with fresh ideas and offer support from a community of other new teachers.

Creating an open source online platform, the Beta School nurtures a growing set of new ideas as well as educational materials added by new teachers from around the world. Teachers share lesson plans, create a queue of materials, rate and review ideas and receive recommendations based on their profiles.
