The project for our class was to create an Iphone application that supports some sort of social or political change in our community. Currently the trend towards a smokeless United States is seeing great progress in the last few years. Over 70% of the country is now under some sort of city-wide or state-wide smoking ban. However, that means that there is still 30% of the country that may not see any sort of restriction on the harmful effects of cigarette smoke.

The challenge that arises from the fact that there are still places in the United States without any sort of smoking ban is that there may be individuals in these areas may prefer restaurants with a smokeless environment. The problem is often finding these places though.

With the creation of "ClearBite" residents in areas without any sort of smoking ban will be able to find restaurants that support a smokeless environment. Additionally, anyone from around the country can access the application and view the status and specifics of smoking bans all over.
