"Search & Rescue" for Animal Welfare

My project is designed to educate and promote animal rescue. I wanted to design an app that would raise money for animal welfare, educate and interest dog lovers, and promote the adoption of homeless dogs. The app features breed listings with photos, characteristic information and links to adoptable dogs via the user's zip code. The app would collaborate with the extensive databases of Petfinder.com and link to the website's list of adoptable dogs by zip code and breed. In addition to promoting adoption, the app would also provide a "text to donate" feature where users are provided with a list of charities and are able to donate via text msg.
