Brightening Brightmoor is a workshop, a prototype and a product designed to build solar bike lights using discarded plastic drink bottles and simple solar technology. Teaching the basics of soldering and circuitry, University of Michigan students worked with 9th graders at Detroit Community Schools in Brightmoor to develop the project and its many facets.
