Our approach to the Sustaining San Francisco project includes photography and the collaborative Paper Airplanes installation. Individually, we explored sustainability issues on a personal level and photographed them through our respective visual styles. The Paper Airplanes installation began with the goal of gathering our photography community to participate in a sustainable cause. As photographers, we consume a considerable amount of photo paper, so we invited everyone to contribute this used paper in the form of paper airplanes. The installation was created after writing our thoughts about sustainability on the airplanes.
